Finally, an Update! Well worth it, though prepare for glory, at Louie Mueller's BBQ!

I had the honor of going to Louie Mueller's BBQ in Taylor, last Tuesday (10/29/2014). In previous posts, I've mentioned the tier at which Louie Mueller's operates on the BBQ echelon - The latest visit serves to anchor that view and what a beautiful view it is:
Look at the crust-ridge in that last picture! Don't let the rocky and sharp exterior steer you away from what may be the most moving and satisfying eating experience of your life! The texture shift, from crunchy pepper, to tender meat is wondrous; the memory of this beef rib, even now, elicits joy from yours truly. It is appropriate that the rib resembles a mountainous peak, for it represents the summit of BBQ beef ribs, leagues above the competition! Wayne Mueller has gone on record speaking of a focus in consistency, he hits home here, even with the departure of pit-boss, Tony White, he has forged a new and worthy successor to Mr. White, in pit-boss Brett. I'm sorry I don't have a photo with him, but he's a genuine, down to earth kind of guy. He was kind enough to spare a few minutes to pass the time of day with me throughout my visit last Tuesday. All in all the kind of guy you'd invite over for a BBQ (Funny, how life works out like that, eh?).
Last shot of m'self, at total peace - Enjoying some of the greatest BBQ in all the land.
